This article explains how to remove Mobicip from a child’s device in case of an emergency or if something isn’t working as expected.

iOS

Please follow the steps below to remove the Mobicip app from your child’s device running iOS 18.2 or later.

1. Go to iOS Settings > Screen Time > Apps with Screen time access.
2. Locate the Mobicip app and disable it using Parent Apple ID Verification.
3. Once done, long press the Mobicip app icon on home screen
4. Tap "Delete app"

Android

To uninstall Mobicip from an Android device, touch and hold the Mobicip app icon, then tap Uninstall or drag it to the Remove/Bin icon. Before the app can be removed, you’ll need to disable Device Administrator permission for Mobicip.

To do this, go to Settings > Security > More Security & Privacy > Device Admin Apps > Turn off Mobicip and tap Deactivate.

Mac

1. Open Mobicip icon on the Mac > Settings and login with your Mobicip account credentials
2. Click Manage Settings from side Menu
3. Select Uninstall option and Restart the system

Windows

Mobicip can be uninstalled like any other software from Control Panel using an administrator account. If the uninstall doesn’t work, please try the following steps:

1. Type “Services” in the Windows Start menu search bar.
2. Open the Services app (gear icon).
3. In the list of services, look for Mobicip_Manager.
4. Right-click it and select Start or Restart.
5. Then try uninstalling Mobicip again from Control panel.

Chromebook

To delete Mobicip extension from a Chromebook, login to your kid's account > go to chrome://extensions > Click the bin icon next to the extension to delete.

In case the extension page is locked by Mobicip, please click on Mobicip icon at top right corner of browser and uncheck 'Block extensions page'. You can even go to Chrome web store > Search for Mobicip > Select remove from Chrome to delete.
